How To Root Gionee M6 Smartphone

Gionee M6 is among the mobile smartphone that can’t be rooted because of its version and security but with AbdulTech, no rooting is impossible. Meanwhile, this rooting method was founded by hovatek.

How To Root Gionee M6 Smartphone

You must know how to root before going for this tutorial and your phone must be charged to at least 50% and your PC as well. You must have an original USB cord. If you are not with these requirements and anything happens to your phone, am not responsible.

STEP 1: Firstly, download Philz for Gionee M6 by clicking here and set up your ADB and Fastboot on the PC using this guide here.

STEP 2: Then extract and copy Fastboot.exe, adb.exe and recovery.img into the same folder.

STEP 3: Unlock the bootloader of Gionee M6 by following this guide here and download SuperSU 2.78.zip by clicking here and copy the SuperSU.zip to both internal memory storage.

STEP 4: Then connect your USB cord to your PC and boot into fastboot as instructed in the bootloader unlock guide and in the Fastboot, reload Philz recovery  by typing fastboot boot recovery.img and press enter to boot into Philz recovery mode.

STEP 5: In Philz recovery, you will use volume button to navigate and power button to select. Then navigate to Install zip and select it.

STEP 6: Then navigate to SuperSU2.78.zip on your SD card and use power button to select it and wait till the flashing is complete. (If you are prompted to fix ROOT, choose NO) and after the flashing is complete, reboot your phone and confirm your ROOT using root checker app.
